The Rolls Royce Silver Dawn was manufactured in Crewe, England between 1949 and 1955. These hand built automobiles were produced at an average of only about 100 per year, with total production of 760 units over the entire run. Now some 70 odd years later, these fine automobiles have become vary rare and valuable. The 1953 example you see here has the later 4.5L inline six cylinder engine. This unit is fitted with the Zenith carburetors and runs with an exceptional smoothness fitting of a Rolls Royce.
