This beautiful 1939 Chevrolet Coupe is one truly amazing street rod!! The body on this baby is laser straight, with excellent body panel gaps and fit and finish. The paint is a mile deep and glossy like a lake on a windless day. Custom LED tail lights and LED high mount stop light give a subtle update, while the aero mirrors and monochromatic look give a little update to this timeless design. Billet aluminum wheels by Boyd are wrapped in offset BFGoodrich Radial TA tires with skinnies in the front and fatties in the rear. The body sits low on the wheels with a subtle rake for that classic hot rod look. Open the door and look at the newer GM truck seats custom fitted to this body. Movement is powered on the drivers side, and manual on the passenger. They also tilt forward to give you access to the package area behind the seats. On the dash you'll find custom gauges, billet knobs for lights and wipers, and that best aftermarket addition ever, under dash A/C!! Windows are also powered, and the vent windows are lockable and wind open with custom billet handles. Under the custom sided opening hood is where the real magic happens! A big, nasty, mean 454CI V-8 Chevrolet big block is wedged between the frame rails, with a polished aluminum supercharger sitting on top with dual four barrel carburetors. Ignition is courtesy of MSD, while long tube headers and true dual exhaust play wonderful noises! Two electric fans help to keep this hot rod cool in all weather. The engine compartment is just as nice to look at as the outside of this baby, with polished blower, intake, valve covers, alternator and A/C compressor. This baby just sparkles! Power flows from that beast of an engine to a built Turbo 350 three speed automatic transmission and on to a heavy duty Ford 9" rear axle. Suspension is custom tubular SLA with coil springs up front while out back are leaf springs and traction bars. Steering is power assisted rack and pinion with a custom Ididit column. Brakes are power disc in the front, and big drums in back. This is a true show car that is built to go just as well as it shows. This won't just turn heads on a cruise night, it'll snap necks.
