This 68' C10 has been the recipient of a full frame off custom build, and the results speak for themselves. This black beauty is finished in a gorgeous metallic black over an arrow straight and perfect body. Look down the sides and you could shave your beard in the reflection. The paint has a heavy metallic element with hints of green and purple in bright sunlight and gloss that makes it look a mile deep. This custom sport truck has a great theme going with the "RST" or Rallye Sport Truck badges borrowed from the newer model Chevrolet lineup. The red is repeated in the front bowtie, the side stainless trim, the brake calipers, and even with custom red led strips hidden under the bed rails and under the hood. The headlights are custom led units with led turn signals built into the head lamp housings that help to clean up the front-end profile. The bed is finished with real ash wood floors and stainless strips. The gorgeous chrome wheels are wrapped in ultra-low-profile rubber and fill up the wheel wells nicely. Behind the wheel of this truck is a great place to be, with full custom Dakota digital gages, custom floor console, cup holders, and leather wrapped bucket seats. The dashboard holds a beautifully integrated 9" touch screen interface that has AMFM radio, Bluetooth streaming, Navigation, Apps and internet connectivity. Custom red lighting throughout including inside the cup holders is a great touch and adds to the special feel of this custom interior. Under the hood is a modern day 5.3L iron block LS V-8 with fuel injection, power steering, power disc brakes all around, and ice-cold air conditioning. This modern truck motor is linked to a four speed 4L60E automatic transmission and sends power back to a GM 10-bolt rear end with posi-traction. The frame has been powder coated and back halved with an adjustable four link, Panhard bar, and adjustable coil over shock absorbers. Brakes are upgraded with power assisted discs at all four corners peeking out behind those beautiful chrome wheels. The stance is just right, and the visual appeal is attention grabbing to say the least.
