Presented here is one of the most legendary performance cars of the 1980s—this 1987 Buick Regal Grand National, a true American icon that redefined what a muscle car could be. Powered by a 3.8L turbocharged and intercooled V6, the 1987 Grand National put down 245 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque, delivering 0–60 times that embarrassed Corvettes, Camaros, and even Ferraris of the day. Backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip rear end, the Grand National wasn’t just quick—it was shockingly fast and incredibly capable for its time. The exterior is all business. Inside, the Grand National features its trademark two-tone black and gray bucket seat interior with the signature “Turbo 6” logo embroidered on the headrests.
